Rae Reeves is a New York City based Workforce Development Specialist and Resume Writer. She understands the importance of career growth and continuous skill-building. This millennial has invested her career in unmatched customer service, excelling as a Workforce Development and Training pioneer in government and private sector agencies. It is her mission to ensure that youth and people of color have the tools they need to succeed. Rae began her career as a Human Resources Receptionist for the NYC Department of Environmental Protection in 2018 and birthed Resumes by Rae in late 2019.
During the height of the coronavirus pandemic when the world came to a halt, Rae took the initiative to outreach within her community. In Spring 2021 she offered time and resources to the Queens Community House Job Club and The High School for Law Enforcement and Public Safety. With The Great Resignation shifting entry level to executive professionals nation-wide, these and other community activities have emphasized to Rae that the need for a robust resume is everlasting.
Rae served as a Human Resources Receptionist, Processing & Onboarding Assistant, Workforce Development Coordinator, and Employment Coordinator. Resumes by Rae is a Meta Certified Company and continues to offer professional resume building and writing services and workshops nation-wide.

Most recently, Rae has been featured in Voyage ATL's Hidden Gems Magazine and The Woman Innovators segment of the June 2022 Circle of Boss Sisters Magazine.
She was also a resource vendor for the May 2022 Queens, NY Youth Symposium hosted by Brickhouse Unlimited where she spoke to youth about the importance of a well-crafted resume, interview tips and career exploration.
Community organizations and schools such as Queens Community House Job Club, United Black Men of Queens Foundation, Inc. (UBMQ) Youth Mentoring Program and The High School for Law Enforcement and Public Safety, among others, have benefited from Resumes by Rae's resume building workshop.
