Great question! Here at Resumes by Rae, we focus on improving the content of your resume, while resume builders are meant to improve the design and looks of your resume by offering different resume templates to choose from.
If you need assistance with writing the actual content of your resume, a resume builder won’t be able to help, but we can. We take great pride in taking deeper dives into you as a person and as a professional.

Working with a professional resume writing service helps you find jobs faster and more accurately aligned with your goals. A professionally written, simply formatted resume and cover letter make you more valuable and appealing to recruiters.

Once you submit your order, you will receive a "Next Steps" email.  The Next Steps email will help me help you with expectations.

1. You will receive a rough draft on or around the 5-7 day turnaround time which varies by workload at the time of order submission.
2. ​You will have the opportunity to review the draft and suggest changes.
3. Once you approve the rough draft, you will receive PDF and Word files of the final documents. 

At this time, Resumes by Rae does not offer Federal Resume writing services, however we will be more than happy to refer you to our partners.

It is a software that most employers use to weed out candidates who are likely unqualified for the position.
